Allerton Gardens sits on more than 100 acres of land and boasts some colorful and interesting examples of garden art. Some of the areas were used during the filming of Jurassic Park. The gardens are open for tours from Monday to Saturday, with the first leaving at 9am and the last one at 2pm from the Visitors Center. The gardens take approximately 2.5 hours to go through. McBryde Garden sports a variety of Hawaiian flowers, including palms, heliconias and orchids. This botanical garden was the first established by the National Tropical Botanical Gardens and serves as its headquarters. Tours are available daily starting at 9:30, with the last leaving at 2:30.
